Guru Granth Guru Granth Sahib is the nectar of Gita and Bhagwatam

I have always been a great admirer of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and after my devotion to Hare Krishna movement, it’s the Sikhism which is closest to my heart. As far as I understand Guru Nanak was disciple of Chatinya Mahaprabhu, whom he met at JaganNath Puri and recited famous Aarti, “Bhavkhandana Teri aarti” भवखण्डना

Sikh are great devotees of the Lord with simplicity at heart. If any daughter is ever in crisis, I will advise her to take refuse in any nearby Sikh family, she will be fully safe.

Sikhism is founded in Bhakti of the Lord, it was only later due to the demand of time that Sikhs moved towards armed Khalsa Swaroop by Great Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Mughal era.

Now there being no such need of individual arms in Modern times, one should take shelter of Lotus feet of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and move towards pure bhakti to attain salvation.

One thing more, each and every teaching by Guru Nanak DevJi, explains eternal truth from Gita and Bhagwatam. He explained the essence of these two Holy Books in a most beautiful Gurbani. I feel not a single preaching said by Guru Nanak was such which is not present in these two books. To me Guru Granth Sahib is the nectar of Gita and Bhagwatam and deserves the greatest respect by all.
